Energy Is Top Issue In Oklahoma Congressional Race

Oklahoma is blessed to have an abundance of natural energy sources including coal, wind, solar, oil and gas. But rightfully so, Oklahoma is known as an oil and gas state. The oil and gas industry has historically driven Oklahoma’s economy. Jobs, investment, the state budget … they all suffer when the industry isn’t doing well.
This has become the biggest issue in this congressional race. Congresswoman Horn (D) is being challenged by State Senator Stephanie Bice (R). And if Congresswoman Horn (Oklahoma’s only elected Democrat in DC) loses her race, many will say it was be largely be due to this one issue.
