2021 NASL Conference Update
NASL
October 28th, 2021
After meeting virtually in 2020, the members of NASL (National Association of State Lobbyists) held their annual meeting in Kennebunkport, Maine on September 12 to 14.
The organization is made up of top lobbying firms from all 50 states and Puerto Rico. NASL members are committed to upholding the National Association of State Lobbyists’ code of ethics https://www.statelobbyists.org/code-of-ethics/. This annual training provides NASL members tools to remain focused on high ethical standards in their lobby efforts on behalf of their clients within their respective states. It also provides a forum to better understand trending state and federal issues, best practices, and networking.
The one area of focus at every annual meeting is a presentation, from the Washington, DC law and lobbying firm, Covington and Burley LLP, on best practices, lobbying ethics and lobbyist reporting.
